EASTWIND project: Workpackage 3

This workpackage focusses on promoting the idea of using wind energy in Russia, where this renewable energy source is not very well-known and popular, yet. Recent political developments direct towards extension of RES - a tendency that should be used intensively. In the beginning, the current "state of knowledge" regarding wind energy shall be determined by survey among different target groups in Kaliningrad and Pskov region. Based on these survey's outputs, marketing strategies that address different target groups will be developed and an intensive wind energy marketing will be started, using those media which were identified as useful on the basis of the national know-how of the Russian partners and the experiences of the existing WEBSR-network.
