EASTWIND project: Workpackage 2Topic: Wind energy educationOn the one hand, WP2 intends to make use of the online-courses developed in the InterregIIIb-WEBSR-project for wind energy education in Russia. A test-run of one of the courses shall be carried out, the option to use the other online-courses to train students regarding this field will be discussed on the basis of this test-run. Parallel to this, an intensive wind energy training and education (closely related to the general marketing of the idea of wind energy use in WP3) will be carried out: An open course and and international conference on the topic "Wind energy for sustainable community development" have been planned, meeting between members of the WEBSR-network and future Russian wind energy experts will be arranged. A study trip intends to increase practical knowledge on that topic, know-how on windenergy will be provided to stakeholders within workshops that intend to interest them into getting involved into wind energy use-related work and planning.
